Drive through Maple, Vellore or Sonoma Heights and you will see the same story on street after street: a generous Vaughan lot, a wide back wall — and a small builder-grade deck, or just a concrete pad, hanging off the rear door. Enough room for a barbecue. Not enough for a family dinner, a lounger, or friends.
Most of our Vaughan work starts there. We remove or extend those starter platforms and build the deck the yard was always meant to hold: a proper dining zone off the kitchen, a separate lounging corner, and stairs that land where the garden actually begins instead of in the middle of the lawn.
Head north to Kleinburg or the older pockets of Woodbridge and the lots change character — deeper, greener, sometimes sloping toward a ravine. There the design follows the land: levels that step down with the grade, and glass or aluminum railings that keep the tree view open instead of fencing it off.
